Waimea Bay

An abstract collage of Waimea Bay, created with layered fabrics and paper in shades of blue, white, and earthy ochre. On the left, a tall, vertical rock formation is composed of overlapping, rounded pieces of warm, reddish-brown and tan material. At the bottom, similar scattered rocks sit along a pale blue shoreline. The center depicts a turbulent deep blue sea with white, textured waves, where a small, minimalist figure of a person is shown mid-jump or diving from the large rock into the water. The sky fills the top half of the composition with a striking white and blue pattern, resembling rippled clouds or shibori-dyed fabric.
