Old Friend

A detailed, surrealist stipple and cross-hatch ink drawing in black ink on a cream-colored background. The composition features a complex, dreamlike landscape blending maritime elements with abstract geometry. On the left side, the hulls of two wooden ships or canoes appear to emerge from or dissolve into a heavily shaded thicket of branches and cross-hatched shadows.
